Wyvern Physiotherapy is the private practice of Ed Davis — hands-on assessment, rehabilitation and remote video consultations for those further afield. Every appointment is one-to-one with Ed.
Every session gives back.
50p from every face-to-face appointment is donated to Stand Against Violence, the Taunton-founded charity educating young people to prevent violence. Paid quarterly, with no admin deducted.

Ed qualified from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2013 and has worked across NHS hospital rotations, community MSK teams and primary care. He continues to work at Enhanced Practice Level within the NHS alongside running Wyvern Physiotherapy.
His approach is person-centred and evidence-led: a thorough assessment, a clear plan, and continued support after you leave the room — whether in person or by video.
Every appointment is one-to-one with Ed. Care is evidence-led, unhurried, and tailored to your presentation.
Hands-on assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal pain, injury and post-surgical recovery.
Assessment, advice and guided rehabilitation by video for clients outside the local area.
Every face-to-face appointment includes a week of post-session WhatsApp support for follow-up questions and queries.
Full assessment or follow-up treatment. Suitable for new and returning clients.
Shorter review session for established clients or targeted follow-up work.
Not sure where to turn? A short telephone or video call to screen for red flag pathology and give first-line advice on your best next step. Paid in full upfront.
One-to-one physiotherapy in your own home within the Taunton area and surrounding Somerset.
New clinical questions or uncertainty raised during WhatsApp support may indicate a need for a further appointment.
Ed uses AI noting tools to help with documentation and note formulation, ensuring as much time as needed is spent with you during the session rather than on admin.
Every face-to-face appointment includes a week of post-session WhatsApp messaging for follow-up questions and clarification on your rehab.
Every in-clinic, face-to-face appointment contributes 50p to a charity close to my heart — quietly, and on every visit.
Live video consultations for clients outside the area, with the same structured assessment and guidance.
Every face-to-face consultation contributes 50p directly to Stand Against Violence — a charity born right here in Taunton following the tragic loss of 17-year-old Lloyd Fouracre in 2005. SAV works with schools, youth groups and colleges across Somerset to give young people the skills to de-escalate conflict, make positive choices and stay safe.
Donations are paid quarterly in arrears, tracked transparently from every face-to-face appointment. Remote video and telephone appointments are not included in the donation scheme. No administrative cost is taken — the full 50p reaches the charity.

"Seeing the individual, not just the problem."
This ethos underpins both my clinical work and the commitment to giving back — quietly, consistently, and with full transparency.
Every face-to-face appointment includes one week of WhatsApp messaging support. This is for follow-up questions about your exercises, clarification on advice given during the session, or quick check-ins on how you're progressing.
Message the same number you booked with, or use the secure messaging built into the booking system — whichever suits you. I aim to respond within 24 hours during the week. If a new clinical question arises or your symptoms change significantly, this may indicate the need for a further appointment.

New symptoms or significant changes may require a follow-up session rather than WhatsApp advice — your safety comes first.
We deliver highly specialized, expert musculoskeletal care. Please note that our fees reflect the value of our specialist clinical diagnosis, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment strategy — you are paying for an expert medical opinion, not a block of time. Sessions may conclude slightly early if clinical objectives are fully met, ensuring your care is efficient and focused.
Choose a 40-minute (£70) or 25-minute (£45) appointment, in clinic or by video, or a 15-minute virtual triage call (£25, paid in full at the point of booking) for red flag screening and advice. Please let me know at the time of booking whether you'd prefer in-person, video or telephone. Cancellations welcome up to 48 hours in advance.
Live clinic and video availability is shown on our secure booking page. Pick a time that suits you. Non-virtual appointments require a flat £25 deposit at the time of booking, fully refundable with more than 48 hours' notice. Virtual appointments are paid in full when booked.
