The charity we support
That is why we are proud to support Stand Against Violence (SAV), a charity born right here in Taunton following the tragic loss of 17-year-old Lloyd Fouracre in 2005.
"Stand Against Violence are leading providers of preventative and early intervention programmes, for children and young people, to help combat violence and associated crime. This charity delivers anti-violence workshops, practical personal safety and vital first aid lessons in schools and youth organisations throughout England and Wales."

Why SAV matters
SAV works tirelessly across Somerset and the UK to give young people the skills, education and resilience they need to make positive choices, de-escalate conflict, and stay safe.
By delivering interactive workshops in schools, youth groups and colleges, SAV equips the next generation with vital life skills, emergency first aid, and conflict resolution techniques.
How we support
A portion of our efforts and practice proceeds goes toward supporting SAV's mission to educate young people and prevent interpersonal violence before it starts.
In practice, 50p from every face-to-face appointment is set aside and paid paid quarterly in arrears, with no administrative deduction. Remote video and telephone appointments are not included, and no administrative cost is taken — the full amount reaches the charity.
