How home visits are arranged

Because every home visit is different — distance, parking, access, equipment and the complexity of the clinical picture — these appointments are arranged directly by email rather than through the online booking system.

Please email wyvernphysiotherapy@gmail.com with a brief description of the problem, the location of the visit, and any access or timing considerations. Ed will reply to agree a suitable slot and discuss the clinical plan before the appointment.

Home visit fee

Home visits are arranged by email because each one is individual — distance, access, timing and clinical needs all affect planning. The minimum home-visit cost is £150 to reflect travel time, planning and the clinic slot that cannot be used for another patient during that period.

If the visit is likely to take longer or involve a significant journey, the fee will be confirmed by email before the appointment is agreed.

Who a home visit may suit

MSK Physio at home is designed for people who would benefit from physiotherapy but cannot practically attend the clinic. This might include those with significant mobility limitations, post-operative restrictions, or circumstances that make travel difficult.

The clinical assessment, treatment and rehabilitation planning are the same high standard as an in-clinic session; only the setting is different.
